Was wir gerade lesen: The Story of the World
Das Buch thematisiert das Mittelalter seit dem Fall von Rom bis zum Beginn der Renaissance.

Ich lese dieses Buch als “Gute-Nacht-Geschichte” unserem 9-Jährigen und unserer fast 7-Jährigen vor (die Vierjährige hört auch zu, schläft aber dabei regelmässig ein). Sie mögen es sehr! Ich selbst lerne dabei auch einiges (wieder) aus der Geschichte. Für die Kinder ist es Unterhaltung mit lehrreichem Inhalt.

We are currently reading: The Story of the World.  The book addresses the Middle Ages from the fall of Rome to the rise of the Renaissance.

I am reading this book as a “good night story” to our 9 and 7 year old (the four year old also listens but regularly falls asleep meanwhile). They love it! I am learning/renewing history myself at the same time. For the children it is entertainment with an educational content.
