I think, therefore I am.
This is a famous quote from René Descartes (1596-1650), who was a French philosopher, mathematician, and scientist.
I was pretty sure, until now, that this word of wisdom originated from a Greek philosopher. I wanted to look it up in the internet, to find out, which one. Was it Socrates, Aristotle or any other? But then, to my surprise, it was neither the one, nor the other. Why on earth, did I believe so for years?
Anyway. A couple of years ago, I found my own version of the “… therefore I am.” It goes like this:
I write, therefore I am.
