Ever thought about a Google Doodle with Jesus as a reminder of important Christian feast days, such as Christmas and Easter?
Fortunately, in Great Britain, four saints were presented, due to national holidays: St. David, St. Andrew, St. George and St. Patrick.
If you type in the name “Jesus” at the Google Doodles search, you will find nothing. Google honours many famous and less famous people from all over the world, as well as sport and other events through-out the year, but never Jesus Christ, although he is the man who has greatly influenced history, art and culture – not to mention the impact he has on peoples’ private lives. After all, there are 2.2 billion Christians worldwide.

Google ehrt Männer und Frauen aus der ganzen Welt, berühmt und weniger berühmt, sowie Sport- und andere Ereignisse, aber nicht Jesus, der auf Geschichte, Kunst und Kultur den grössten Einfluss ausübt – geschweige denn auf das persönliche Leben vieler Menschen. Immerhin hat es weltweit 2,2 Milliarden Christen.
